Good afternoon guys. I was cruising an Antique Store today and came across this Visor eagle. I haven't seen many 29th Italian Waffen SS Visor Eagles and am curious if this one is good. It has an 800 stamped in the lower corner, otherwise no markings. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

The way I understand it is that these "800" or "900" silver mark is typical German
and therefor does not belong on this eagle as these Italian SS cap eagles were made solely in Italy....
So the numeral is actually a red flag. I also don't like the prongs.
That's my opinion. Hope I'm wrong, but to me its not looking very good!!
If you post this in the Italian section you will get good input from Italian collectors for sure. -
