Gentlemen... I have for your consideration, this question.
Now, when I see or hear: "Tunic removed" or "Combat worn"
used in the description of cloth insignia items, I assume that it was
sewn on to the tunic during the war... and was actually worn in combat
and that appeals to me!
But what about insignia that was a Mint, unissued piece until just recently
and has been sewn to a restored tunic... and maybe even roughed-up
a little bit to look more salty. To me, that doesn't count as tunic removed.
Is there any way to tell the difference? Thanks!!
