    Lah

    This tunic needs to be discussed IMO.While Mr Youssouf believes the cyphers are possibly post war added they are original.

    These are in fact common copies.Which makes me suspect of when the CT was added

    It's been mentioned in different threads but "oakleaf militaria's" LAH "Fend"

    tunic is what I would expect to see.

        Buyers Beware!!!!

        I don't know enough to comment about this uniform, but Yousouff was trying to pedal a very bad set of fake signatures that got pulled off estand last week. Here's the discussion thread.

        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=473391&page=3

        Post #9 is a pic of the item. That could have been a very costly mistake to some one here if a very vigilant member didn't spot it in time.
        I think this info is a good reference point for opinions on uniform, especially since he was so defensive and offered no explanation about the fake sig. incedent.

            LAH tunic

            Hello guys, good to read a thread is started. Please look well at the tunic and read the text to it. I sell this tunic as if the Cyphers are post war added copies, I (myself) think these are original examples but that is just my opinion. Please respect my opinion and I will also respect yours.

            The price is based upon an original wartime uniform with original decals to it, as if the shoulder boards are without the LAH cyphers.

            Please let me know how you think of the following:
            Is the bullion eagle original;
            Is the cuff title original;
            Is the old fighters chevron original;
            Are the collar tabs original;
            Are the shoulder boards (without LAH cyphers) original;
            Is the jacket original.

            I think that this should be the discussion. Indeed I placed a photo with fake insignia's to the forum for sale. As written I bought this at an auction of Thies 3 years ago and fully trusted his expertise, now it seems that this was not wise from me. I appolagize for this, what more can I say??

            The LAH tunic was judged by Martin Stiles (hannahs Reich) and he only had doubts about the LAH cyphers. Besides; at German Helmet Walhalla this tunic was judged already.

            I just hope that you are willing tot make a judgment to the tunic, I know it is a rare item and very expensive. I sell the tunic and confirm myself to the e-stand rules and give a 2 weeks inspection period.

                Allright Eric-Jan, that's obvious to me, but how about my questions above. I just would like the tunic to be discussed.

                IMHO this tunic should be the point of discussion but is seems to me that my tunic is not really the issue anymore? It is a pity to read nobody is able (or willing to be able) to give an honest opinion about the tunic.

                Just a pity..

                  Don't worry, opinions will come. If not, it is probably your attitude that is keeping them away. You should not be so arrogant, because nobody wants be helpful to a j*rk ,

                    Is this the same LAH uniform sold by Kai Winkler for I believe it was Euro4500 at the time around 6 years ago now??? It looks like the exact same one.

                      I think, as they say in '70's cop shows "that's the word on the street".

                            Well Phoef was expelled from the forum officially and he bought this tunic from Kai Winkler all one has to do is look at the cyphers Winkler had a stock full of these cyphers and was about the only dealer with them...also if you read Phoefs past threads he uses the same method of trying to obtain answers as Yousouff does.

                            To answer his question all the insignias appear original and sewn to an original jacket with the addition of fake cyphers....I was curious about this uniform when Winkler had it and emailed him to inquire if he knew who it belonged to, at the time he was offering a named document and photo grouping to a Das Reich officer and he told me the tunic came from that officer...which of coarse didnt make any sense since it is an LAH uniform.

                            I searched the forum and the history doesnt go back far enough to show the thread when Phoef accuired this uniform and it was sold as an entire uniform tunic,pants and boots.
