Although both the eagle and tunic are original.

I can be sure the eagle is not original to the tunic. Very easy for me.

nice original tunic but the eagle 100% applied later
sold on ebay without eagle few weeks ago..
I saw it on dealer's site( cant remember with one)..without eagle too

I'd be looking VERY closely at the collar tab area and above the pocket ... I may just be imagining it but I think I can see the outline of Heer litzen.

Ian , I owned this tunic once , this is an old thread. It's a real ss
Tunic but was stripped. It has a lot spotty nap mothing so that is what you are seeing. I actually owned two (twins) you could also still see thread from cuff title . It also has the two step ss lining.
