There are plenty of fake Jewish Ghetto or KL Policeman's badges all over the place, & the reason I don't like this one is because the initials don't make any sense. The long word at the top in German & the long Polish word at the bottom mean the same thing: basically, "Police Patrol Service". The top German initials stand for 'the Council of Elders of Kiel'. ?? Kiel?? there was a Ghetto or KL at Kiel ?? Kiel could be the beginning of the name of a Ghetto or KL in Poland, but Kiel-what?? The R stands for "Rat" (Council). The Alt stands for "Alteste" (old, elders, etc.) The Polish initials G & G below are supposed to match in Polish what the German initials say at the top. They don't make any sense at all, just my opinion. An R below in Polish would be Rada (Council); St below would be Stary (old, elders), & an example of the Ghetto/KL might be for instance Cz, for Czestochowa. But R & R make no sense.

Sounds like its just decoration for the postcard, it was all framed together

There WAS an SS Transit Camp ( Sammellager ) named Kielbasin, under Commandant Karl Rinzler, about 5 miles from Grodno, in Belarus, & possibly the initials "Kiel"are meant for Sammellager Kielbasin. But the G & G Polish initials make no sense.
