interesting one.
not a usual type of backing so i personally would be dubious
that said, the backing looks like the type used on 'bevo' tabs
that would be cool.......
do you own a 'bevo' tab to compare!
anyone else seen reverse like that?

Has it got any tell tail signs of stitch holes?
It's not an early pre war / early tab, that's for sure.
Signs of glue to top right corner is of concern, difficult for a conclusive judgement.

I check the backing , not glow under black light . I not find any stitch holes

Tab

I don't like the heavy wool thickness, and the glue is problematic. The best case scenario is some fool glued the flap down - worst case scenario - the tab is fake. I'm leaning toward the latter, also because of the wool. I don't know if the backing material is OK or not - perhaps they were trying to copy those SS tabs with the white "waffle" buckrum. I mostly collect SA tabs, but period German wool is period German wool. I could be wrong, but me no like.
