Ever hear of Larry Allen Thorne? His birth name was Laurie Tierney (sp?). I believe he held every, or most major Finnish military awards. After fighting the Ruskies for Finland, he joined the Waffen SS, was eventually captured, escaped several times, and then made his way to the US, where he became a member of Army Special Forces. He was killed in Laos where his small spotter plane went down. He fought Communism under 3 flags. He, and so many others exhibited uncommon valor, and very few people know their names. But everyone has heard of Carrot Top.

Sad, but so very true. Larry Thorne was an amazing man.

Finland

They got some bad-a$$ mofos coming out of Finland. Seemu Hayha (sp?) was also from Finland and is the king of snipers. Someone please post his totals. It's UNBELIEVABLE. As I understand, a Russian sniper finally lined him up and put a round through his cheek. AFTER being shot, he located the sniper and took him out.
