What do you think guys? Is this a legit SS NCO's whistle?

Hi, it´s a very nice Horn Whistle but unfortunately engraved by Czech Fakers. They came up some Years ago. Those similar Whistles are often used by the SS, I own such Thing that I got directly from a Vet, my Whistle is just Black without any markings. I am not sure if those engraved Ones ever did exist but I am quite sure that yours is One of those Czech Fakes, sorry for that

I agree with Andy on this whistle. Just one small point that I feel I should make here. As not all Heer, Luftwaffe or Marine kit was marked with an eagle then the same is also true for SS items. Be very suspicious of items marked with an SS if you know that the respective Wehrmacht item is unmarked.Comment

Thank you. It is too easy to add runes to a wartime object and ask for more $. Unless these horn whistles were commonly issued with runes, then it is clear this was made to deceive.Comment
