    Embroidered LAH cyphers, opinions sought

Sirs: I'd be interested in opinions about the posted cyphers (and straps too). It would seem that there are slight variations in the embroidery even between original examples. This set differs a bit from another pair on hand. This topic has been discussed here and likely elsewhere as well:

Thoughts about these? I have brightened the photos a bit in an attempt to bring out detail. Thanks to all.

OK, I read this as two against. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

              Any other opinions?

Attached is another image comparing a known (IMO) original next to one of the examples about which I am inquiring.

Is this a variation or just an improved quality repro?

Mike imo the embroidery is very "loose "and flimsy, compared to mine. No from me. Jacques

Hi Steve, I don't have an underside photo of that cypher but here are front and back shots of another that I believe original.

So, what are your thoughts about the example posted for opinions?

Condsidering these appeared in mid-1940 and continued to be made until

the late stages of the war the quality suffered like every else.

They share more traits w/ originals than copies, IMO they are late war.

How about this one sewn onto a late strap??? It is very similar to the one Mike first posted.
