    TK ring and WWI1 ring??

I know the TK is not orignal but the vet I got it from got it during the occupation. Does this jive with what you all have seen.

The RZM stamp and no inscription was a hoot to see...HAHA

The other one looks like is says "WAG" ??

Any ideas of when these were made?

I have never seen a patriotic ring with the sides bumped out like that?

    thanks for any info.

I can't tell when this was made, but the occupation was a long period. Did he tell you what year he picked them up? As an aside, are we still occupying Germany?

Last I checked there's still a lot of US combat mass on their soil. Just in case.

Regarding the rings, it is my understanding immediately after the war the only economic activity was centered around servicing the occupiers.

We all know what souvenir hounds US troops are (to our benefit.) Germans invented the term kitsch after all, and were quick to turn their hands to make Nazi (and other) trinkets to sell to our boys.

I really like the Bevo sleeve patches made for US units and the metal unit insignia pins made during the early occupation are of amazing quality.
