Did an SS "M1" designation --,Tab Exist? Searched forum with no luck. No pics just a text from a friend at a coin show. "Black tab. "Dachau style', "M1" Embroided" "SS?"

The collar tab is most likely for ranks up to Standartenfuhrer for the SS-Kraffahrsturm (SS-Motor Transport Company) for Oberabsnitte Sud (M1). Ref.: Angolia's Cloth Insignia of the SS, 2nd Edition, 1989, Page 106.
