SS breadbag with label - Worth a lot?

So the member who showed the pics was not stupid since he wanted to be sure that these pics and the right to publish and save/download/use them is still only in his hands.
What is the problem about that?
Others write and sell books with pics of rare pieces they use without asking the former/actual owner and gain a lot of money - so what?
Do you think that a german has any possibilities to hire an attorney to bring an action at law due to breaching the copyright?
Only if the image is presented by an outer source one has the possibility to keep his rights concerning the use of his pic to himself.
He wants to bring in the harvest from his field for himself and not for others - that´s good self protection - nothing more and nothing less.
Anything else would start to be communism and that´s not what I personally prefer.
We can be happy that he shared and showed his pics to the collector community and that´s it.

It is considered common courtesy on forums to leave photos in place to serve as a source of future reference to others who, like the original poster, come here seeking knowledge. The "I got what I wanted, now screw everyone else (including the very people who provided me help)" mentality is complete BS.

If common courtesy comes along with the despise of personal rights then I am on the side of the individual.
In this case the individual has the right to protect his interests and what belongs and is owned by him.
If he really want to share it here in the long run that´s fine - but still it is up to him, only him.
He is free to set his own priorities and there is nobody else who can dictate to him what to do with his docs.
Otherwise change the forum guidelines and in addition to that don´t forget to adjust them with applicable law.
It might be like in this nice Oldie: I fought the law and the law won...

I will, however, agree that it is within his rights to choose to be a jerk and pull his photos. It is, likewise, within the rights of those from whom he seeks assistance to choose to not provide it to him in the future if he is only concerned with his own self-interest.

send me a PM with your Email address.
These were not my pictures and the seller asked to remove them.
I had no problem with showing them if I owned the breadbag.
I understand that you want to see the thread complete.
On the other hand everyone who is interested seemed to have downloaded the pics.
