SS Arm Eagle on a piece of black panzer cloth?

This one is supposed to be cut from a SS Panzer wrapper, I am no eagle expert, so does it even has a chance of being original?

The eagle is a good and nice 41/42 example.Hard to say if is original period sewn on that piece of cloth.

It probably is what it is said to be. Sewing looks period to me, funny that they used gray/green on the back of an eagle on a black uniform, as some of the thread always shows through on the front. Not a detraction, but also an indicator of originality to me...a faker seeking to enhance a sleeve eagle by sewing it to a piece of black wool, would use black thread on both sides for sure. An original seamstress could care less as long as it was done properly.
