has any one ever heard of a koppelschlobpistole

Hi has any one ever heard of a koppelschlobpistole belt buckle pistole before .?There is one on gun brokers now item number 180993207 . The gun is suspose to be a ss belt buckle they made during the war 1944 . This one has 4 barrels on it . The barrels came in 22 cal 5.6mm or 5.4 on the one they made with 2 barrels . He claims there are only a couple that are around . I've never seen or heard of this before now. If you get a chance take a look .I like to know . Is it real or fake?

I have owned one 20 years ago - I heard there are less than 10 existing. Never figured out if they were real or not.

One is in the collection of confiscated material at the bavarian police headquarters in munich.

From the online "lexikon der Wehrmacht":

If the Nazi's made more of these they could have won the war.

I had seen 2 of these in a collection many years when I was a teen..But they had regular Luft. issue buckles covering the device instead of what your showing. From what I was told they were for pilots incase they were shot down..I'd be leery on these they look mucked up.

For Agents missions there was an interesting development, the belt buckle pistol. There were patterns with two 9-mm and 7.65 mm with four runs, after unfolding the coupler lock is automatically brought into firing position. The firing was by push buttons or by wires, such as when raising of the hands, happened. The first samples were manufactured in Berlin, then in a small series in the Waffen SS Academy of Brno.

First time I ever heard of one of these was when one was pictured in the old "SS Regalia" (or "Nazi Regalia") books. Anyone have a pic of that one?
