Would appreciate opinions on this one. Tough to photograph, but no buckram inside, it looks more like paste board. In last photo you can see where a hole was punched in that paste board (like it was recycled material).
I have searched WAF for a photo of a first pattern Dirlewanger tab, but all the photos uploaded are the late war Dachau type. What I understand are first pattern tabs are both thicker (fatter) in depth and also have thicker and more detailed grenade and rifles, so was wondering if this conforms to that style.
Believe it or not, it came inside a bag full of US WWII patches I bought. Did not even know it was there until rummaged through them.
