You guys are familiar with the white-stitch on the backside of this type of skull tab? Here's one more detail.

It's almost TOO good, if you know what I mean. Quality of the early machine embroidered styles but trying to be the mid-late war type instead.

Hey, Guys! Thanks a lot for your comments! You confirmed my doubts. It's really a well-made skull but somewhat wrong in details including the stitching (both the pitch of the stiching and the existence of the stitch itself on this type). The tan color of the skull is also a mismatch with the fairly nice overall condition of the tab. I suspect this was artificially aged. In this conditon, the skull should have retained a nice white-silver color. Also the felt seems to be a little thicker than the felt used on originals. I even doubt the machine-needle can easily pierce through it when applied.
