Here is a nice marble plaque which measures approx 8x10. It has the SS gorget style eagle on it and a dedication from the Leibstandarte Officer Corps on the occasion of the Fuhrers birthday. The dedication plate appears to be sterling silver. I have never seen one of these before. Does anyone know who they would of been given out to and value? Thanks...Jeff

I am afraid that this is not a period item.

Thanks for your input gentlemen. If this is post war made, how many others have you seen out there? This is the first one I have seen in 30 years of collecting. For what it is worth this was an indirect vetran purchase. Hard to say which term they would of used definitively but I agree on the spelling. Thanks again...Jeff

One another fake for sure.
By the way: I think if the Führerkorps of the Leibstandarte indeed gave something for the Führer´s birthday it would be at least documented within the "Kanzlei des Führers" under Bouhler regarding Hitler´s private matters or officially for the documents of the Reich within the "Präsidialkanzlei des Führers" under Otto Meissner because of Hitler being Reichspräsident from 1934 - 1945 or as being Reichskanzler within the Reichskanzlei under Hans Heinrich Lammers.
Otherwise such pieces could be document for example within the several SS-organs like the Schwarzes Korps or the FM-issues.
