    Laugh of the day

Check out Himmler on this DVD cover. The worst I´ve ever seen. Himmler wearing an untersturmführer tunic and Hitlers visor. Now who the hell designed that cover??? With that cover I really believe that this documentary is historical correct

I guess 1 of the secrets is Himmler went to the Jethro Bodine aschool of double naught spyin... Billbert

(for our non american members friend Jethro was a big lumox from a comedy school "the bevelry Hilbillies "circa 1960)

Goerring looks like he is still fighting WW1.

I wonder why the need to dress Himmler in this way. There is enough photos of him.

He was wearing his swastika PJ's in the original photo and that just wouldn't do...

If I am correct the Göring pic is initially from around 1922 in his own designed SA-leader outfit and is well-known anyway.

Another typical example and doubtless proof that no historian of today yet is really able - and willing - to examine the person Himmler in a really scientific way.
Maybe the historical figure Himmler ought to appear ridiculous here once again - but indeed it´s rather the author/publisher of today.

Nonetheless the content of this product could be more objective and they just wanted to hide that with the use of such a pseudo-historical cover.

Why would they wanna hide that, if that was the idea behind this cover which I strongly doubt?

All I can say is I hope the content is not reflection of the cover.

Unfortunately, the BBC "buys in" a large percentage of
its stuff from some dud sources and is not produced in
house. They therefore squander the savings on paying
outrageous salaries to their overpaid, overhyped "Stars"
                      Jonathon Ross,Graham Norton,etc etc .
                      Excuse the rant

Himmler is wearing the wrong cap as mentioned, and the wrong tunic, but the other chaps are correct, although that may not be Hitler but maybe a photo of an actor ?

That is funny, because I had the same thought. It does look like someone else in some way. It could be a drawing of Hitlers face
