          Did somebody put the round bases over the remains of crimps? Usually those fitting are found on thin zinc skulls

            Isn't it a 360/42 fake with the round bases soldered over the crimps as mentioned before.

              Actually, I think this is a second-generation fake. The "original" fake would have been made of aluminum. This appears to be a casting derived from one of those, with the markings eliminated and with the crimps removed and replaced with soldered pins.

                A UK dealer put it on Ebay for $145 bucks...(starting bid)
                Its being described as a "traditions insignia"
                (which of coruse is a different pattern skull, but I guess he's trying to avoid the ebay police...)
