    ss cap insignia

    Hello Guys,

I want to share my last gain: this set of SS cap insignia. Both are in a beautiful condition. The eagle is producer M1/167 and the scull a classic M1/24.

    Regards,

    Erwin

The jawline doesn't meet the cheekbone .... isn't that a tell-tale of the latest super fake M1/24 about 18 months ago ?

Didn't Mr Hritz point out the side by side of these ?

          Hope I'm wrong, Ian.

...though quite possibly repainted in my opinion. In any case, a nice piece.

Good to hear that, the fake Bob Hritz posted had the same jawline which caused me to question it.

Thanks for your responses guys. Believe it or not, this set was never before in collectors hands and came from a person who had it for over more than 50 years in his drawer chest. IMO the skull and the bird are never overpainted but simply in a hardly used condition.
