    SS Drilich Rock

    Hi,

    I would like to know a little bit more about this SS Drillich Rock. Are drillich rocks for the WSS different from Heer in cut and lining?

      Last picture. Also see picture of a Drillich Rock worn with decals. Not the same model of Drillichrock. Front row buttons still visible.
      Also, might colour of Rock indicate Afrika?

                  Could be. I have never seen one like this before. IMO Luftwaffe drillich not the same colour. More blue green. Is this DAK Luftwaffe drillich?
                  Drillichs for the SS same as Heer I suppose??

                    Your tunic is a standard Luftwaffe oatmeal jacket. Nothing to do with DAK. It has had an eagle sown onto the arm and then taken off. Extra stamps added inside and a label added. But it is still just an ordinary Luftwaffe oatmeal tunic.

                          To me based on the photos this is just another example of excessive fake wear and aging with abrasives etc., adding insignia the tag, tearing it off etc. A lot of work, how much was it sold for?

                            SS Drillich jacket

                            Hi Johnny,

                            This jacket is not mine. I wanted to have some opinions about the possibility of this jacket as front used WSS-jacket. It looks pretty convincing, but then the RZM-tag made me wondering. Still a lot of work for the maker!
