SS uniform study! Image of white tunics

    SS uniform study!
Interesting image showing multiple examples of fully badged officer's
and enlisted white tunics in wear by Waffen SS members!
    (clearly not Alg.SS)

Shows at left a buttoned up closed neck example (Heer pattern?),
as well as open neck examples, some pressed open!!

Seems like the Obersturmführer on the right is wearing a CAP eagle on his sleeve ? Another great picture , Nick .. !

          super nice indeed - thanks!

also note the 'hatless wonder' being laff'd at and (possibly) helped to his feet -- and the bottle in front of him. coincidence? we think not!

It's possible but the officers of the SS Kavallerie or 'Florian Geyer' would have the General Assault badge and/or the Reiter badge ? These have the Infanterie Assault badge. The date is around '42 looking at the Ost Medaille ribbon and the headgear.

Superb photo btw, many thanks for sharing it.

            Ian.

This photo is one of many in private albumn to a member of "Germania"

The photo date's from the summer of 1938. What's not visible is the

black & silver piping on the insignia and the "G" embroidered shoulder

                    board.

There is also a nice set of photo's I've seen of a RK ceremony from

"Wiiking" w/ Gille and his 1a in white.(1943)

Thank you Steve for posting that most interesting visual. It is rare, apart from the '36 Olympics to see a lower ranked man wearing the tunic that was supposed to be for officers only.
