This 1st Pattern Oakleaf A SS camo cover recently came in and I see some things I like about it but there are also some a couple of causes for concern.
Things I like:
1. It appears to be correct Oakleaf A Camo material.
2. I took a very small piece of stitching and it passed the burn test, 100% cotton.
3. The inside of the spring pocket's colors are vibrant compared to the rest of the cover.
4. The construction seems 100% correct.
5. Wear seems natural and unforced, to me at least.
6. Springs are present.
Things I don't like:
1. The clips are missing.
2. The areas around the clips have been be re-sewn. There is evidence were thread had previously been securing the clips. It also appears that a different type of thread was used in this area.
I don't consider myself an expert on covers so I would be very great full for the opinions of more experienced collectors Thanks. -Jeremy
