    Wehrwolf equipment! Skull! Totenkopf marking!

Ok, no SS item! But in this forum are a lot of skull collectors, that is the reason why I post it here.

Who can tell me more about this leather item? It has some different markings and one is the skull over a W. The symbol of the Wehrwolf 1923-1933! It is brown leather (130 cm x 2,4 cm).

    What is it? Used for....????

    Opinions?

Here is a similar item where you can better see such a marking.

          Maybe only a Packriemen?

I guess a leather strap (Packriemen) used for the equipment.

Too cool!! Its interesting that they went to the extent of marking even small things like this strap. Do you think it could have been made just for the Wehrwolf, or is it more likely a surplus item that they added a property stamp to?

No I don’t think it was exclusive made for the Wehrwolf. More interesting is the maker mark, because it is from a foreign maker from the 30’s. But I have no problem with this fact. The Wehrwolf was a kind of paramilitary organization (Wehrverband) and it was not the Reichswehr! Most Wehrwolf members were workers and the Wehrwolf had always a problem. What problem? Money! That is the reason why I think they used all equipment that they could get for a good price.

PS: Up to now I have only seen such property stamps on these two leather items. I talked with other known collectors about the theme, but nobody had seen such marks before. If here are collectors who know more about this theme, please send me a short PM! Thanks!
