    Actually it's published in at least a few different titles before, but you can find this photo together with a few others of the same setting in "Ruckmarsch!, The German retreat from Normandy" Then and now.

        Certainly not the photo I started this thread with...I can't tell for the other SS men posted but the group image with FJ smocks could very well be indeed.
