SS Sahariana Tunic

This second model Sahariana tunic has metal buttons, not glass, and an originally sewn sleeve eagle (IMO).

If it's an original, I'll be very pleased. I've not owned one before, and would appreciate those "in the know" on SS tropical material to lend me a hand.

eagle, and brown linen used on the undersides of the flaps -

nylon/rayon waist tie and armpit detail -

all buttons held by s-rings -

size / Frankfurt depot issue markings.

The material is a thicker or heavier grade or cotton than I would have imagined, but very sturdy and somewhat stiff.

What do you think?

Anyone want to take a crack at this? I'd appreciate any opinions - first one of these for me.

2nd pattern tunic I think, no pocket pleats. eagle is fine. Sure is minty though! would prefer to see glass buttons. Hmm, not sure about it to be honest.
