Allgemeine at Garmisch (then and now)

I have lately puchased this curious pic of an Allgemeine band at Garmisch jump ramp...what are they looking? Maybe the eccentric decoration of green?
Note the soccer door too...a perfect example of optimization of spaces...

The "now" is already a "then, as both the judge-tower on the far right, and the big ski-jump were blown 4 years ago, and since rebuilt.

            x2
At least the stadium is still standing.
My great-grandmother was working there during the Olymipc games in 1936 as a waitress.
I've added a more recent photo which I took around 2 years ago.

Ste...sorry to disappoint you, but the snow had melted time ago here in Garmisch...no evidence of a swastika

That's great! You can even see the stands that are in the o.p. photo.
..........but I think the band already went back to the barrcks in this photo
                            Jp.
p.s. actually, looking closer...I think the band is still there!!!!!

...(of course just kidding.....no snow in o.p.)
