    Opinions on SS Stickpin

I just picked up a nice "vet grouping", and everything looks perfectly good, except for this SS Stickpin. According to old posts, a legit stickpin must be marked on the back, and the outer circle must be wider than the inner circle.

Just wanted to confirm before letting this go.

Bad SS stickpin. Originals were either Hofstatter or Gahr marked.

The SS pin is a Copy/fake.

Thanks for the input. I'll put it on the necktie of my Pirschen M34 Tunic

stay clear of these SS pins. they are usually marked and have knurling on the pins.

Yes, I saw that, too. But this one (posted here) reminded me so much of one I bought from Delta International back in 1968, I decided to do a little research. This vet grouping looks perfectly okay - maybe he stumbled across it at some point in time and he (or one of his kids) just added it to the horde.
