    RZM Heimwehr Danzig?

If our early cufftitle folks could render an opinion on this cuff title, I'd appreciate it. Not the typical lettering style I've seen on these, but I not some cuff titles have less symetrical lettering than others.

    What say ye?

I believe these were only manufactured in gothic script.

There may be other factors that point towards it not being original.

They were made in both Fraktur and in block letters, but the illustrated band is an old Ken Lane copy.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

The irregularity of this cuff title was unsettling. For a type that should have been produced to the same high standard as the other regimental types, it looked off.

Tom, thanks for weighing in. Bob, your decades of experience are appreciated.

          regards, Robert

The letter fonts of the machine embroidery does not match known originals. A bad reproduction.

Here is an image of the Latin version. Reference: Williamson & McGuirl, German Military Cuffbands 1784-Present, 1998, Pages 204-205.
