Dear Forum,
Please help me out with the following. I own a SS-Degen certificate that is in good condition (no holes, no major stains). It is made out to an Austrian MD, Sturmbannfuehrer and holder of the blood order. The certificate bears a very beautiful signature of Himmler in ink. Item is watermarked appropriately. I have someone who has offered to take this item in trade for an uniform I am interested in. The problem now is what value should I attach to this certificate? At the moment the offer for the document is a little less than 2000 Euro. Is that a good value or is this item worth a lot more? What would be a reasonable value for this document? Please help. Thanks.
Willem
