I picked this hat up in a collection, i know the owner got it about 30 years ago from a flea market here in saint petersburg florida, Im sure its a old reporduction but figured id better post to make sure, thanks for any help i can get!

That's my guess as well but I'm not an expert on these by any means. Badges look ok but they are easy to find even now. The RZM label doesn't look good to me plus I'd really want to see an orange waterproof lining to have any chance at all.Originally posted by NBolinger View PostComment

The ST.&L. Ges. Gesch. marked skulls have different teeth that are more flush with the jaw and don't protrude as much. The overall appearance IS very similar, though. Post a picture of the reverse if not too much trouble, and the eagle too.Comment
