I take it it's only one pair, I agree though that it looks like soiled infantry straps.

I will be blunt they are at a local
auction . And my only interest is resale value as they are not my thing are they worth anything ? Even if dirty infantry . Cheers rob

I was told by another collector that individuals in the SS (regardless of waffenfarbe) who wore brown sports shirts under their open collar tunics were associated with concentration camp service. Is there any credibility to this assertion?
