    SS Sleeve Eagle

    Am I right in that this is an original SS Bellbottom flatwire
    Sleeve Eagel.

    I know they are unusual to find and that some do not like them, but IMO this one is ok.

      From the photos, it appears to be a rayon example, not the aluminum flatwire.

        It is not a aluminium flatwire for officers, but this one is for enlisted men.

          Your eagle is authentic. I just wanted to mention it is not a flatwire but a rayon enlisted eagle. This is a very scarce pattern.
