    True, but even then remember that awards only were worn while wearing the uniform or on 'official occasions' in civilian(not very different then nowadays). I think 99% of all soldiers wore their uniform on those official occasions, for example their wedding, and thus were wearing their normal awards.

    And please, don't kill me on the 99%. Fact is, that I have never seen such a ribbon in wear during the war. After the war in the Bundeswehr, yes, but not in the Wehrmacht, SS, KM or Luftwaffe. I am not attacking the item in question (I simply don't have the knowledge for that), all I'm saying that I have never seen such an item before...

    Provide me with evidence and I am the first to admit that I was wrong.

      It´s kinda funny when you search for extremely rare or one-of-a-kind stuff.

      Either you have the piece but no infos about it or you have all solid documented infos and even pics - but not the piece itself.

      The first possibility is the one I certainly prefer.
