Can you post a picture of the rear and some with the flaps down?

It would be a 1st type grey one if real but going from these pictures I think it's not a period one.

Wait for more qualified opinions than mine though.

Imo this is a good first type vt cap. The pictures are not that good but for me no problem.

I have one that is the seem. Only the insigna is different is the second model that I have.

As far as I am concerned there are a few aspects concerning the construction also the wear doesn't convice me.

Engineer MIGHT be onto something I ve seen a foto fo early VT or TV cap with pale creamy yellow lining and big tag..someone owns it on the forum I think... Billbert

What does it look like behind the flaps? Stitching dosnt look right for some reason, though I am no authority on SS uniform items.
