Zimmermann skulls were made using two different styles of pins, but both were flat. There were top/bottom horizontally crimped pins, which were longer and cut at a diagonal to form an offset point, and there were conically (round) crimped pins, which were shorter and tapered from both sides to form a center point.

This cast fake is trying to replicate the latter style, but the faker used incorrect round pins, which were just soldered, not crimped.

Not cupal, just a fake trying to mimic the appearance of cupal..

FYI ; cupal items are light, thin , stamped , and very strong ..

Yes, that was my opinion also; a fake skull, heavy cast copy trying to be cupal.
