SS Totenkopf ring in silver !?

    Hello my dear enthusiasts.
I have something very interesting to post today. This is SS Totenkopf ring in silver from my collection. Can anyone help me and tell me if it is authentic? I bought it a decade ago on a flee market. To me it looks very authentic, but I am not an expert and I can't be objective since it is mine
I couldn't manage to make better pictures. There is a number 825 (I guess it is a code for silver) on a borders and borders are not continuous, like it has been cut off from a finger !?

Thank you for looking and giving your opinion.
    Cheers,
    Milan

This is not an SS ring, but a commercial ring that was popular with soldiers. They are very collectible and yours in a period piece. However, they have no official association to the Third Reich.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Thank you very much for your extremely prompt answer (and help). I thought it is connected to SS somehow. That is why I posted my thread here, into SS forum
I must say, I am very happy with your explanation
      Very best regards,

        Hi guys
the other week , my friends found a ring just like this, near the German coat buttons in a U.S. camp , during a search whit metal detector in Tuscany.

        Excuse my English!

          Your English is VERY good!

I think these skull rings are/were pretty universal to all sides, mostly to anyone who's job was to kill. JMHO.

I guess the ring your friend found could also have been a trophy, we'll never know.
