My parents were antique dealers for 40 years and these are the types of uniforms that people show up with at shows and flea markets and try to hook someone that does not know a lot only that something real is worth a lot of money. They would tell stories about Vet bring backs and Dad was sick needed the money would you buy it for $1000.00 etc. So they may be lying but they may also believe it is real and will assert that until they turn purple.

There is a set on Estand right now you can look at, you can see the differences between the set you posted and real insignia etc. along with a price for that set.

                uniform

                Hi
IT`s an Allgemeine SS uniform, the cuffband is 16.SS Panzer Grenadier
Division "Réichsführer-SS" a division that grow out of Himmlers Begleit
Batallion, and from oct 43 got the cuffband, from picturial evidence
the cuffband is presumed only to exist as BeVo, that`s why it don`t
belong to the jacket, and it`s a copy 6 strand ribbon possibly from the
                70ties,
For further info about cuffbands, Williamson/Mc.Guirl:German Military
