              AH Cuff Title

Reproduction. Band material, RZM tag, and aluminum edges construction. All bad. Try this link: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...er+cuff+titles posts 13-15.

                Charles Betz is correct.

Would the correct tax code for this be a "C"? thanks

                    How were these done?
Did they have a RZM spec unterlagen, or the "best RZM spec embroiderers in the land".

The band was machine produced by one Hersteller who put his RZM duty paid tag on (probably a 'B') and then another company did the hand embroidery and added their own tag (probably a 'C' or 'D' depending on the intricasy of the work) In the case of the cufftitle posted it would date to the mid 1970's and probably smell of curry.

                      Ian.

                          Thanks Ian,
So are you saying that typically the band's script is first machine embroidered in thread then hand sewn over with bullion using it as the pattern?
I read that's how Sepp's gold bullion CT was done.

Nope, finished blank bands went to another manufacturer to be embroidered to order. I wouldn't use Sepp or similar fashion victims as an example.
