      Hi,

      ok,

but where's the difference to this Wagner example? do I overlook something?

The prongs on originals of this type are aluminum, doubled over and crimped into slightly domed cup fasteners...

Exactly - and this one would have brass round discs for feet ( sprayed silver here ) . Sometimes surrounded by small ridges ..

The round fasteners are missing in the eagle you showed us, zf41.
winkelman has provided a very good visual example.

The thickness of yours also looks slightly different.

                That style is not original.

winkelman's eagle is also a fake. Original Wagner has prongs that at the end is fold and sticked in the holes of the eagle.
This fake shown has also it's 475/43 variant.

                    I showed that last one AS A FAKE , for learning purposes . Here's the wrong pins again , on a 475/43 ( post 25 ) >> http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=406680&page=2

And then , for a little added confusion , there are also FAKES with 475/42 in a different position - but with even worse pins .. >>

There's not a single original metal insignia in that section , and as such is also highly educational .. !
