    ss "gas" insignia

    Hello Gentlemen,
Please see pics, front and back shown.
Does anybody know anything about this insignia?
Is it sleeve insignia for ss man working with GAS?
    Is it original TR period?
Does anyone have a photo of this on uniform?
    (materials are cotton on wool)

    Opinions appreciated,
    John Pen.

If anyone is interested, I found this older WAF thread while further searching for my own answers; http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...+mask+insignia

Unfortunately pics have been deleted. Anyone with pics of these patches on uniforms?

    Regards,
    John Pen.

Why is this particular insignia round? All of the trade badges with exception of the gas badge I have seen are in the shape of a triangle.

            Nice patch BTW

So it is clear this is for a chemical defense NCO, I have seen idiots at shows selling these as badges for K-Lager personnel "that operated the gas chambers."
