FYI

I was shown this helmet sometime ago at a show by JDW this was after the initial thread here on WAF although i cannot remember much about the helmet now and before anyone asks NO he did not offer the helmet to me.


A question to those that say they have been offered the helmet Which Military show's were you offered the helmet?

Hi John,
I was waiting in the hope that the owner would post some pictures. I shudder to think of its value,that is if it were real,I had and still have grave doubts as to its oiriginality. Certainly if it were mine and it was a real one I would not be offering it for sale at what is a small but very well attended Militaria fair. I for one would not have anywhere near enough cash on me to buy it,if it was real.......I would have to buy this one though.

It does looks like he is in hiding avoiding the issue hoping its going to go away, anyone know what his real name is (other than dave of course)

Then I will try to snap a photo of him at a show as its always good to put a face to a name or a name to a face
