Robin, nice eck but it looks like that the chest is positioned close to a doorframe?? if so, I'd move it- I could see some kids or dogs walking around in the dark and bumping into it, kicking over that nice julleuchter and smashing it to bits. Gives me heartache to so think! please reassure me.

BTW, if that chest is even half filled with totenkopf rings, please secure it for goodness sakes!

MF, thank you for join-in the discusion. My research is going on in to looking at examples in old books such as bauer kraft and volkskunst. I had not seen your exampel but I have before the Minnesinger types. Paterns were re-peating and cut off loom. Symbologie of design is interessing too! Unicorns recalls the mythologie of the past. Have you fotos of paterns utilised in third reich? I should post my own fotos from research. We should share these infos.
