Here's a nice SD overcoat made in the very same Dutch gabardine wool!
My brother's father-in-law got this as a war trophy in Holland!
Untouched original and still in the family!!

Another view of the SD (SiPo) overcoat in the very same DUtch color fine wool material,
so definately a Dutch tunic or at least Dutch tailored in Dutch wool (with Dutch style back)
and the SS insignia would make perfect sense, just like this overcoat!

        Right on!

Are there any traces of a Heer breast eagle? Could you put some better pics of the collar and the area of the tabs?

        Kind regards,
        Gerd V

the jacket comes right from dresden where a fellow collector has bin working on the old roof replacing it .
he did ask to owner a nice old man if he did have something from the 2 worldwar because he collect these .
the old man did ask what kind of things he would like.
the fellow collector did say everything would be nice.
the old man told him he did service in the waffen ss
he had bin first within the totenkopf div.
butt when the w ss did grown bigger and new divisies where formed
he came in 1943 to the new div hanshar in yugoslav.
he did ask to my fellow collector if he did like to have one of his uniform jackets.
first he did show the totenkopfjacket with the insingia still in place.
than he came up with the jacket that i have now.
mine frend did not belief what wash happening.
the old man did ask if he liked it.
just take it with you he said. mine frend did ask the man if he wanted money for it.
no he said ,when i am dead then they throw everiething in to the garbage container.
          take it
he went home and after a couple weeks he did sell it to me
the other jacket did not come to my frend a pitty butt a great story.
