The jacket comes from germany ,
never in collection and no dealer find.
When you look at the shadow where ones the eagle has been you see below a shadow of maybe a krotien schild.

The shield looks smaller than Croatian ... possibly Finnish ? That's NOT commenting on the originality of the tunic itself. There looks to be a shadow of longer tabs than normal SS ones though ?

Gives me a very warm feeling! Nice jacket. Did it ever have a cufftitle?

                      Kind regards,
                      Gerd V

                            A pre-1940 DUTCH " buitenmodel " tunic conversion ( 7 button front , belt-hooks removed , typical lining ) .

Very nice , Nick will love it too .. !

You betcha I do! I agree ex-Dutch conversion or Dutch tailored!
Typical Dutch back tailoring and lacking a split tail, another Dutch trait!
but I must admit that I also see ghosts of rectangular collar patches...??perhaps incorrectly restored in the past?
Ex-Dutch converted to SS makes perfect sense! Congrats!
