                          maybe it got lost in the latvian post for 59 years..
                          musta used savings stamps to buy the cap like for VW where they honored the stamp payment plan years after the war...

                            To read all the humorous posts is a relieve anyway. I could tell you another story of a knight cross I bought.... ghastly, the loss. Since I resorted just to sniper and MP44 items my losses have rather diminished. I am a lawyer by profession and I am astonished that what I consider is a cirma is quite common in this circles. It seems that is because the fraudulous people reckon the buyer will not go to court because he has got a false cap. and the seller can always say he did not know better. I will give the item for free to a friend with a big collection and who also collects fakes. BTW, never give a good item to another person for inspection. It might be you you do get the same item back. The burnt nigromontanus
