Posting it here... dumbest move possible. Some poor guy will get eaten alive by dealers with deep pockets now. Nice. They get it all anyway.

    FAIL.

Funny how it got pulled AFTER it was posted here. I guess if you don't want the sharks involved, don't send them an invitation to your party.

              Oh blin!
I had that auction on my observation list!

I know why I never post any clues about items listed on Gestapobay any more. Either I would destroy for my myself (which of course is out of the question), or I will destry for others which I actually do not like to do.

              Cheers

If I want something on Ebay, I figure out how much I'm willing to pay and set up a snipe bid at the end of the auction. It avoids the item being run up and lots of attention being drawn to it. If someone bids higher than I am willing to pay that's okay, there's ten new deals right around the corner.

Yeah, I really don't know why people start bidding early. It's just shooting yourself in the foot. Happens all the time on ebay.de though, they start bidding there as soon as the item is listed!?

                        Well, hush my mouth.

I thought this forum was about helping other members.

                        Obviously, it isn't.

Its all perspective Robin. Some people actively search online auctions etc... for good items to bid on, sleepers etc.... Once it hits the forum though, even people that didn't want to look will bid it, driving the price up and in a away, hurting your fellow collectors.
