    I have just found these rings to be sold on internet.
    I have never seen of ring of this model, I try to know if she(it) are of time(period).
    Beforehand thanks to all the persons who are going to take time to answer me.

            To me the SS gorget appears to be an original but..................... someone has chrome plated or buffed the metal to a mirrow finnish.The finnish should look more like the back side of the gorget.See the grey paint next to the top metal loop,that is the original finnish.Perhaps it was done by the original owner.??? It is also missing the chain (most of them are) I think it still has some value to it but I cannot say how much

              IMHO...the background looks more "chromed" than buffed... I say that because of the "shine" and it looks like typical chrome flaking on rim at edges. If that even makes a difference, I don't know.....maybe some one took it apart and had it chromed. They would have had to take it apart anyway to "buff" it, otherwise the eagle would have also gotten buffed...IMO
