    That is, unless the fellow intended to have worn this tunic received it's delivery prior to October of 1943 . . . in which case, such an edelweiss had not yet been created.

        Good point! I agree but after that they all wore it with pride! Here SS General Stefan Heidrich! Note sleeve shield on general's great coat with gray collar facings!! Very cool think!
