    ss sleeve eagle

    Sleeve eagle on a 44 pattern tunic the construction is a bit crude can I have oppions on this please thanks in advance

    IMO the eagle is ok. Just a variant.

      I agree, the eagle is original. I also like the "not perfect" way that it is stitched on to the sleeve.
      I post a cut off that I own of a similar eagle. Again, not perfect stitches.

          Tropical eagles are yellow BeVo..this is embroidered...= continental!

            Hello!

            Yes, it is normal grey embroidered eagle toned into yellow because of age and wear.
            If one finds a tropical eagle on a normal grey/green wool jacket one can be sure it is post war applied.
